A new issue recently is that the application no longer caches the Dropbox files correctly - even for files which I have keep downloaded. I connect to a speaker, I start a playlist, and it just skips through the entire list to the end, as if the files don't exist or they are empty. I even tried recreating the playlist, and it's still happens. This is frustrating because I normally have different playlists for when I go to bed, and it won't play anything.

Really good music app, probably the best option for people with large music collections (I myself have over 9500 albums on my One Drive). However, when moving over to a new phone, it takes a long time for the album art to process so you may be waiting a long time for the art to be assigned. And even then there is a chance it won't find it and you will have to assign hundreds manually (depending on your library size of course).

Works some of the time, then will stop streaming suddenly, not a WiFi issue as other apps work ok. Expensive, then have to pay subscription to backup or synch data 😐 Also says it's sucking the life out of my battery!!! Update: Decided to give up on this as it now won't link with Google drive & really it was more hassle than it was worth. I'm now using Plexamp which is yes more expensive but so much better & definitely worth checking out if you want to stream your own music collection.

Streaming from OneDrive, Google Drive and Dropbox is a one-time upgrade, not a subscription. We do have an optional subscription offering called Twist Pass which backs up music metadata, ratings and play counts in real time to a dedicated doubleTwist cloud database. This is optional and costs us money every month to maintain.
