Using this app is easier than using aneroid or mercury barometer as it tracks history and can be calibrated to mean sea level air (MSLP).

Please note that some phones don't have barometer sensor so they are not compatible with this app.

Great app, I've always been fascinated by air pressure, no idea why but I've tracked it on the BBC weather for years. Now I have a barometer in my pocket, a log of data and it all plotted on a chart. Minus one star because the notifications bear little resemblance to the recorded data! Like zero use whatsoever it's comical. Update: I now have 6 months of data and my graph is looking rather cluttered. It would be good to archive this data and start again afresh

Excellent app. Literally the only problem I have had is that I took a plane journey and got (correct) pressure readings of 800ish while flying. From then on my graph was useless because the axis started at 800 and normal daily fluctuations were hard to see. I could only fix it by clearing my old data and starting afresh. Possibly could have fixed this if I'd paid for the paid app rather than free!

So this wasn't working, so I checked & re-checked battery optimization & app battery settings to no avail, uninstalled & reinstalled to no avail, then gave up. But then, it had been highly inconvenient to restart the phone, too. When I got around to also doing that after a while, then reinstalled, then, of course, re-fixed the app battery settings, THEN I found this working, collecting data, etc, as it had before for years on my previous phone! So it's back to 5 stars.
