About this app

Kortext provides access to online and offline eBooks from multiple publishers, with enhanced in-built audio and video content, combined with tools to assist learners and academics to make the most of the content.
Features include:
- Easy navigation to content, providing quick access to pages
- Highlight extracts in a range of colours, enabling quick reference of key sections
- Add notes to content and share via email or OneNote, allowing notes from different books to be collated in one area
- Add a reference (Harvard or APA), making creation of bibliographies much easier
- Read Aloud sections, providing help with accessing content
- Increase text size, making it easier to view content

Ratings and reviews

Not easy to navigate (and that's if it even works) pages freeze, cannot easily swipe to turn pages unless you have tapped interface on, but then it covers most of the page, have to re login to watch videos and see images, when you do try to login or sign up you often get stuck on the login portal constantly loading.. really feel like it's created to make studying harder. Anyone who completes a degree by reading text through this app deserves a first and the Nobel peace prize. Patience of a saint

Just about fit for purpose but app presentation is subpar compared with it's rivals. E.g. one can't zoom in on pictures, one can't choose 'continuous flow' presentation when reading epub books (making read aloud really awkward to use), many, many bugs (e.g. one can't select and highlight text when on certain parts of a page. I won't use it if given the choice but the university subscribes to this platform so, all the points above are just inconveniences.

Terrible. Can't scroll, zooming is awkward, annoying interface. Despite downloading the texts, they often do not load new pages (or only very slowly). If the thing is downloaded, then what the hell is the app doing?! I generally disapprove of piracy but in this case I had no other choice to conveniently access the texts my university pays for. There are other, better apps which allow DRM to be maintained but have better interfaces for users.
