Ratings and reviews

I use Lingodeer to learn Japanese and refresh a couple of other languages. Much much better than DL in that you see real people in videos, and no cartoons. The story feature is really good - use it for reading, listening and your own pronunciation. Not sure of the point of publishing your recording though. Haven't been happy that my favourites have gone from the kanji practice, but hopefully that will be replaced soon. Customer service has been very responsive and reliable with follow-ups.

I really enjoy learning Korean with LingoDeer! The programme is very well structured and thoughtfully designed. I especially like how it constantly brings back words and grammar that I’ve already learned, which makes it much easier to remember everything long-term. The grammar explanations are clear and easy to understand, and the helpful hints make learning much less overwhelming. Overall, it makes studying Korean feel enjoyable, organised, and motivating.

I love that it teaches true grammar. And as long as you don't rush, you can get to a good level. So I'm not going to the next section until I ace each test at the end. The native speaker's is brilliant too. So you can hear the actual language said by real people. There is no free version with ads. Only free trial then paid. But it's worth the money if you really want to learn that language.
