The app is good and I get Pro with my revolute subscription (which is way cheaper than the regular price). I'm rating it so lowly because of how snakey they are. I've been using Perplexity Pro for about a year with no apparent limit on file uploads. Suddenly, out of nowhere, I've reached my weekly limit? This wasnt an issue before and honestly I don't understand why it's making itself less appealing instead of more.

I have used this service for years but somewhere around 2025 it's completely degraded as of September 2026 it's unusable. "Computer" is actually capable but expensive. The pro service has become unusable, I spend my time correcting simple information going in circles. The user profile is pointless, it never reads it into memory. I would not use this pro service if someone gave it to me for free. It's a shame I used to be the top recommender. I don't think I'll ever use this again.

Great ai but some simple tasks are missed completely. Like a timer. It didn't start a timer, it counted down by itself, and failed. It also seems that the access ain't working, could be from my end though I guess but it has access to everything but can't make an entry in my calendars. It also confuses the language from time to time. I ask something in English and it responds in French. If these minor things are being fixed it's a solid 5 star.
