About this app

Turn Any Camera App Into an Advanced Timelapse Camera

Intervalometer is an advanced interval timer and shutter automation tool for Android. It automatically triggers your camera shutter at a user-defined interval, allowing you to create timelapse sequences with camera apps you already use.

Unlike the built-in timelapse modes on many smartphones, Intervalometer lets you use manual exposure, RAW, HDR, Night Mode, Light Painting, telephoto, ultra-wide angle, and other camera modes while capturing a series of frames.

Create More Than Standard Timelapse

Use Intervalometer to create:

• Low-light timelapse
• Long-exposure timelapse
• HDR timelapse
• Milky Way timelapse
• Star trails timelapse
• Day-to-night timelapse (Holy Grail)
• Ultra-wide-angle timelapse
• Light-painting timelapse

You can also capture a sequence of frames for image stacking and post-processing, including:

• Image stacking
• Star trails
• Lightning stacking
• Noise reduction through stacking

Works With Any Camera App

Intervalometer is designed to work with any camera app where the shutter button can be triggered through touch automation.

It can also work with dedicated camera remote apps from Canon, Sony, Nikon, and other camera manufacturers, allowing your smartphone to act as an intervalometer for your dedicated camera.

Full Timelapse Control

• Delay timer
• Custom interval time
• Number of shots
• Infinite capture mode
• Bulb mode
• Configurable shutter button position

Whether you're shooting a simple timelapse or capturing hundreds of frames for astrophotography and image stacking, Intervalometer gives you precise control over when each frame is captured.

Important

Intervalometer does not capture or process images itself. It automates the shutter button of your camera app using Android's AccessibilityService API.

Compatible with Android 7.0 and above.

For Huawei and Xiaomi devices, restarting the device may help if touch input cannot be triggered.

Disclaimer: Intervalometer is an automation tool, not a camera or image-processing app.

I found the app acceptable for doing time lapse work, including using a Pixel phone in astrophotography mode. I can no longer enter 3 digit numbers for the timer, which makes the app useless in that role. Developers, are you listening?

There is no way to try out, you have to pay to install. Then you have to pay to unlock features. Would give this -10 Stars if could.

Very disappointed, to say the least. Not once have I been able to actually see or save any photos supposedly captured over the several nights I've attempted to use it for astrophotography on my Pixel 7 Pro. I have the paid version and the most recent version of app, so that makes the disappointment hit even harder. Literally left with a dud product, 6+ hours of what could've been spectacular imagery just wasted, and less change in my wallet for it all. 1/5 is lowest I can rate; 0 fits it better.
