Hey! I like the theme of your app a lot, it's straight to the point, as a student, this is nice too see there are no distractions at all. But there are a few things which are giving me a hard time to adjust, as coming from Instagram here. So the first thing is that, I would absolutely love it if you could add an option to change chat format to the regular side to side chat format, like I could see the sender's message on left and mine at right. The second is that can you please add chat themes.

Slow to sync and receive messages, clunky, no search feature, and lately the app suddenly showed messages from a long time ago and suddenly takes so long to backup conversations. Uninstalled and reinstalled the app already but backup still takes forever, like 20 minutes. Used to take just a few seconds. Feels like a bad college thesis project, TBH. Quite a hot mess.

It looked great, it felt great, it worked great until it didn't. Apps keeps aggressively closing, very long decrypting messages sequences, and delays in receiving and sending messages. I really wanted to like this app. But I know its open source, so I'll be patient.
