Ratings and reviews

Filtering options need work. Hard to isolate locals from the hotel chains. Too pushy in the hard sell to get you to buy into their social app to learn more about the hosts or others in the area to hook up. Based in Europe, so there's a currency exchange that takes place, and the cost of it is added afterwards. So no up front notice. Unless you have a credit card that allows for it. That aside, hosts are great.

Every time I log in it asks to me turn on notifications. The couple of times I've actually booked thru this site. I have to UNCHECK THE BOX for their Stupid "were" thing that they wanna charge $50 a month for. But then you go to the next page and it brings that back up with the box checked again. If you don't notice and unchecked the box again. They charge your credit card. Then are impossible to get a hold of to have that canceled and refunded.

So frustrated. The first booking was priced higher what I would have paid if I just gone directly to the bed and breakfast. For the second booking, four reservations over the last week were declined or canceled due to inaccurate availability listed on the site. And two of them told me that they don't list on Misterbnb anymore despite having listings there. This is held up thousands of dollars, left me at the last minute trying to find a stay in a foreign country during peak season.
