You have to purchase a monthly plan to activate the watch. But you can't actually use the watch until you sync the app with it. It kept crashing, and eventually had to reinstall to get it working. Support was awful AI generated responses, even when using the form to get a human (who doesn't seem to read the message amd asks for info that you just sent). Instructions just don't work, and refer to opticians that don't exist in the UI. The software is awful, and the support os worse.

This app is extremely glitchy. It must restart constantly. Some voice messages don't play. In school mode, for an sos call, my phone rings and the app makes a sound, which can't be disabled when you answer it. you have to wait 10 seconds until it stops (during an emergency!). If I get an sos message from the app, it won't allow me to make a call until I disable school mode. The second guardian doesn't get a call/text if the first doesn't answer.

The location is too often not refreshable (X6 Play). The kids can have been outdoors and the last known location is still hours old. Ok, so maybe it's a battery saving thing, even if I'd expect at least hourly updates, especially when they are constantly moving. But explicit refresh doesn't work and neither does live tracking. This has happens 5+ times when I actually wanted to know where they were. And I *usually* have to force close the app, it gets stuck in map mode, but that's 3-4 star.
