It’s all at your fingertips. Lock or unlock your bike, check the battery level, and find where you parked it – all from your phone. Keep an eye out for regular updates geared to take your VanMoof riding experience to the next level.

No matter where you are in the app, it will assist you with your smoothest ride yet:

Home
• No keys are needed, your bike smartly recognizes you. Unlock your bike with just a tap or create a personal unlock code to easily unlock your bike without your phone.
• Check how much battery your bike has (and Powerbank if you have one).
• View your current speed, distance, and ride duration on your in-app live dashboard.
• Adjust your bike settings instantly on the home screen. You can change your motor assistance, gears, lights, bell sound, and other bike sounds.

Rides
• Look back at every trip with a detailed ride overview.
• You can view every journey, including the time, distance, maximum and average speed, if you stopped, and how much battery it cost.
• See how you compare to other VanMoof riders in your city and across the World.

Garage
• Find all of your bike information, change your bike settings, and view your My VanMoof profile.
• Share your bike with your friends and family.
• Mark your bike as missing and send in the Bike Hunters.
• If your bike has Apple Find My, you can see the current status.

Ratings and reviews

The app is basic, but it provides the essential configuration tool, location tracker, and lock utility. When locked, the notification bar allows for swift unlock outside of the app. I have not encountered any errors or problems, especially with the location, as others have mentioned, but it is early, yet.

Can't use this app with Google Pixel 3a. I give the app one star because I can't use it. Apparently a known issue. Not sure what other phones the app doesn't work with. "Unfortunately, this is a known problem with the Pixel phone. (I have a Pixel as well so I know exactly what you are talking about). It has something to do with how the Pixel saves a lot of Bluetooth caches"

1. Add a simple reconnection button. It's super inconvenient to close and reopen the app every time when the bike disconnects. 2. Show subscription status and expiration date. It's literally impossible to check if anti-theft subscription is enabled or not.

What’s new

This update brings a fresh design to the battery section, and we’ve added a new ride widget for an even better experience!

S6 riders can now track battery health and set a charge limit (80-100%) to extend battery life, and you can now update firmware while the bike is on.

For S5 and S3 models, we’ve made various technical improvements for a smoother ride.
