Here is my honest review of this emulator so far. I love the SNES Super Retro emulator and it's my go to emulator for my SNES games which is why I decided to purchase the Retro 8 emulator. However since I tried out this emulator, I noticed that when I startup any of my games, the sound is very choppy and distorted throughout the entire game. When I enable cheats for my games during gameplay, the game crashes instantly to the point I have to close the emulator and turn off the cheats just for it to run. Hopefully in a future update this will get fixed soon.

Beautifully laid out and feature-rich, the actual emulation is great, and the integration with the Google Play Games service is a really nice touch. Unfortunately I was totally unable to get the cloud synchronization to work; and that was really the main reason I bought it - I wanted to be able to play on my tablet, come home, pick up a controller on my Android TV and pick up where I left off. But it just doesn't seem to work.

I actually like it. It certainly cannot run a good deal of roms however it will run a good deal of the important ones wich is a fair trade for a slightly different sound core, solid emulation, that exquisite CRT filter with scanline and a fair deal of customization options wich I highly encourage giving it some time. This application certainly has potential I hope they continue working on it.
