Simple and effective, but I have some issues with it. Whenever my internet is off, I have to manually open the app for it to notify me of anything at all, and sometimes it'll refuse to notify me even then unless the other person spams my DMs. Those two oversights makes the app less viable for urgent use, and sometimes I get yelled at for it even though it's not my fault, it's the app not notifying me.

The latest version is such a downgrade in function and appearance. I updated in hopes of having the Klipy gif picker and now I have to deal with frustrating animations when sending messages, lag when typing, and unintuitive settings layout. It even force reset my settings when I updated, blinding me with light mode (which I will never willingly use). I also can't use the built in camera app anymore because it flashes the screen blinding white on capture.

With the recent change they took away features to force a subscription to get them back and the over all quality just fails incredibly hard. I've been using this app since it came out and now I'm going to have to find something that at least works now.
