SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
• A Windows PC (Windows 7 x64 or newer).
• An Android phone (Android 5 or newer).

IMPORTANT:
• Your Android phone must have a built-in accelerometer sensor and a built-in magnetometer sensor.
• Your phone and PC must be connected to the same network (for example, to your home router).
• If your phone and PC are connected to the same network, but you still see the "Connection not established" message, try this: open Windows Firewall settings, Private Network, and turn off the Firewall, then restart Stepl. Or add Stepl to the Firewall exclusion list (this is only possible if Stepl is visible in the list).
• Google Chrome browser on your PC is recommended.

Ratings and reviews

Definitely very new. Cool concept so far and excited to see where you take it. The sensitivity is a little weird. I feel like I need a knee or thigh holster for my phone for it to pick up the movement accuratly. There was a bug where I had to uninstall and reinstall because my phone wouldn't go above a certain number no matter how many times I closed reopened or try to restart. It is easy to install and use. Played some power wash simulator Even climbed up a ladder.

Works as described, and what's described is pretty cool! Immediately made Skyrim VR more immersive, immediately made my already enthusiastic VR play style more active and engaging, legs definitely feel like I've been out for a hike instead of playing a video game. Feels like the app could use more fine-tuning and some more granular sensitivity controls, because even with the available settings adjusted it feels very sensitive. Looking forward to spending more time with it!

It's a cool concept, but I'm not paying for a subscription, it feels unfinished. Right now it just tracks when you take a step and sends a w to your computer for each step it counts, but how well it picks up depends on your phone. You also can't configure any other keys or anything, and it requires your browser to be open. As it is now, I don't want to pay for it, and if I did, I wouldn't want it to be a subscription. A one-time payment option would be better for me.
