About this app

With the tankste! app, you can find the cheapest fuel prices in your area. With the proven traffic light system, you can see at a glance where you can save money on fuel and which gas station you should avoid.

With the well-known traffic light system, you can see at a glance which gas stations offer cheap gasoline.
We compare all gas stations in your area and show you the best possible offer that you can use.

🟢 green = cheap
🟠 orange = slightly more expensive
🔴 red = expensive

🔍 Filters 🔍

With the simple filtering options, you can select the type of fuel you prefer. You can choose between gasoline E5, gasoline E10, and diesel.

👋 Goodbye Bertha 👋

My favorite app Bertha is unfortunately no longer available, and the competition's apps do not convince me. So I decided to adopt the minimalist design from our role model, the former Bertha app, and offer a similar user experience with tankste!

🔐 No Tracking 🔐

No registration is necessary to use tankste! The use of location is also optional. This is about fuel prices, nothing more and nothing less.

🤑 Free & Ad-Free 🤑

To make refueling even more enjoyable, this app is free. There are no hidden costs, and I don't display ads! The project is funded entirely by voluntary donations. Just like you know it from Wikipedia, for example.

👾 Open Source 👾

Since I don't want the idea behind Bertha to be lost again, the project is completely open source. You can find the code on Github and contribute to the project. Missing a feature? No problem! Just create a pull request or an issue.

🌍 Cross-Border 🌍

We want you to be able to use the app for your refueling even on vacation and at borders. Currently, tankste! offers you prices in Germany 🇩🇪 & Iceland 🇮🇸.

🧑‍💻 More Features 🧑‍💻

The app is still young, and the bureaucratic steps to obtain more data from gas stations and countries are large. The roadmap still has a lot to offer, and I look forward to growing the project with you. So if something is still missing, please contact me and have some patience.

This update currently does not offer any exciting new features. I have made preparations to include additional countries besides Germany in the project.
