BENIN-TAXI is a project to create a modern fleet of taxis initiated by the government of Benin as part of the creation of a modern capital city. The project entered its active phase on JULY 03, 2017. The first 50 young people (out of the 300 young people recruited and trained since March 21, 2017) are deployed in the field. The other 250 young Artisans started in November 2017. By 2019 the fleet should be close to 700 TAXIS distributed throughout the territory.
