WTH? I unlocked my cameras so I could use my flashlight app for a few minutes. Two hours later THIS app locked my cameras and turned my flash ON. I had to unlock the cameras and open both my flashlight and camera app to get the light to turn off. I thought the whole point was to have more control over your own device. FAIL.

Hi there, sorry for your experience. However, the app doesn't have any flashlight permission or code, so it's also possible that there's a bug in the other app. Also note that in Android 6 or above, flashlights and cameras are separate, so flashlights can still be used even on locked cameras (if the flashlight app uses the Android 6 mechanisms).

This camera software is well worth having, it saves you putting blackout tape onto your camera screen, to get your privacy from hackers/invaders. Even though it's got ads on it, as do all the free software/stuff does, I'd still give it a score of 5 out 5. 😀

Just does what it says: Locks both cams with a single button click. Clean interface. Great job, dudes, THANKS! May I ask for a feature, pls? Allow a 'timeout' to be set after which you lock the cams again so one cannot forget it (u aware that ur users have their cams 'always' locked, right?)

What’s new

⚠️ Android 11 (without Android Enterprise) no longer supports camera security apps, including Camera Lock. Therefore, with the release of Android 11 and beyond, this app won't be supported anymore (unless a future Android version starts supporting camera security apps again). Existing users on Android 10 and below can continue to use the app.
🎉 As this app is no longer supported, ads have been removed as of Camera Lock version 2!
