About this app

The user inserts the desired values into the truth table. The app fills the karnaugh map with these values and calculates the easiest possible boolean expression. Furthermore it shows the disjunctive and the conjunctive normal form.
The number of inputs and the number of outputs can be defined by the user.
The connections in the karnaugh map and the apropriate term in the simplified expression are highlighted with the same color so the user is able to relate to the solution.

The Karnaugh-Wizard was developed by Michael Plattner, a student of the University of Applied Sciences Upper Austria in Hagenberg, Departement Mobile Computing.
