The HidroObserva application is an ANA initiative aimed at managers of hydrological monitoring networks, including the Agency itself, which has the auxiliary functionality in collecting and sending data from the monitoring stations that are part of the National Hydrometeorological Network - RHN. The application's main objective is to provide more quality and speed to the process of recording and sending measurements of rainfall, level, flow and water quality collected by the network of hydrometeorological observers at RHN. In the current flow, data from manual monitoring stations (conventional stations) are collected and written down in proper notebooks - field bulletins - which are later collected by teams of hydrometrists or sent, by mail, to the operational units with the which ANA has a partnership, where they will be verified and entered manually in the National System of Information on Water Resources - SNIRH. With the use of HidroObserva, in those locations where there is internet availability, the data will be typed directly into the application that will be in charge of immediately sending it to the SNIRH system, providing a substantial reduction both in the time of making data available to users final data, as well as the possibility of errors during the manual process of transcribing data into the system. In the current version, the use of the application is restricted to those thousands of users (hydrological observers), previously registered by the ANA, who routinely take readings at the stations that make up the RHN.
