Verify official digital credentials with confidence

GC Verify is a secure and reliable tool for validating official digital credentials issued by the Government of Canada. Whether you're an airline gate agent, inspector, or other authorized personnel, the app allows you to scan and confirm digital documents such as temporary visas, personnel licenses, and other government-issued credentials quickly and securely.

Fast, secure, and standards-based

GC Verify uses a QR code scanning to instantly check the authenticity and validity of digital credentials presented by individuals. Verifications are performed locally on the device (app) and no personal data is stored or transmitted. The app is built in alignment with Government of Canada digital trust standards and provides clear, on-screen indicators of credential status and expiry.

Interoperable

Designed to work seamlessly with supported digital wallets (e.g., GC Wallet) and credential formats, GC Verify helps organizations and officials validate identity and eligibility with confidence and ease.

Important note

GC Verify is currently being offered as part of a limited Government of Canada pilot and is intended solely for use by approved participants. It is not yet available for general public use. The app is under active development and subject to change as we test features, improve functionality, and gather feedback.
