About this app

QRZ XML is an application designed for you to use your existing QRZ.com XML Data subscription for performing callsign lookups. This application is not affiliated with QRZ.com, however a QRZ.com XML Data subscription is required in order to use the app. This is because the app uses QRZ.com's XML Data API in the same way various QSO logging programs do.

I have tried 6 ways from Sunday to log in. I have the subscription on qrz and triple checked my password and login. If I can get it to login I well happily change this review. But as of right now... I can't get in. ******* The app doesn't not like long passwords with odd characters. I changed to an easier password and it works fine. I like longer passwords....

Thanks for bringing this issue to my attention. I found the issue and have fixed it. The latest version of the app (v1.0.1, see the About page in-app to confirm what version you have) uses a login method that can handle passwords at least 24 characters long with a mix of letters, numbers and symbols. 73 de VE1LG

The app doesn't give you the class license operator. Meaning if I am talking to an operator and I lookup their call. I wouldn't know if they are allowed to be talking at the band width where we make contact. This should be corrected. Those are some of the reasons for looking up call sign.

That is not a feature of QRZ.com"s XML Data subscription therefore I cannot implement it.

Pretty useless, in all honesty. As looking for an app to see my QRZ logbook. But... this has nothing. You can use it to lookup callsigns, if that works. Didn't try it because I don't need that. My profile page wouldn't load, so it's basically useless.

Nowhere in the app description does it state or imply it is for accessing one's QRZ logbook or profile page.
