Flair is Next Degree™ climate control for your home air conditioning and heating system. With the Flair app, you can enjoy room-by-room comfort anytime, anywhere by adjusting your temperature setpoints and creating schedules for individual rooms. Away from home? Our geofencing will make sure you save energy by automatically setting rooms as active or inactive as needed.

You can use the Flair app to

-Easily set up your Flair Puck and Smart Vents. You can also connect your Flair devices to your mini split, Nest, ecobee, Honeywell Lyric, and even your Alexa or Google Assistant devices.
-Get room-by-room comfort. You can create schedules to make sure every room in your home is comfortable.
-Save energy. Set up geofencing and Smart Away to make sure your rooms are exactly how you want them when you're out of the house.
-Share home comfort. Set up account permissions for friends, family, or a house sitter. But don't worry: anyone can set a temperature directly from the Puck, even if they don't have the App.

Ratings and reviews

Great app, but it requires a lot of manual changes. If you want a single temperature year round, it's perfect. I like to set the AC at 74 and heat at 70 during the day. There's no way to do this on the app without changing the schedule manually from AC to heat. I live in florida, so I have to do this daily the latter part of fall through early spring. But it does a really good job at keeping the temperature even throughout the house.

The app is actually quite good, both for simplicity & when things get involved. However, menus refresh for a few seconds anytime I use my phone's back button (compared to the in-app button) & I often get logged out. The Flair system has been giving me issues, too. It cools or heats more than it needs to, the Heat/Cool mode almost never cools and lets rooms get +4°F above set temp, and the other modes often ignore some rooms and let their temps get too high/low. So yeah, 3/5 for now.

I can't get this app to work. The only thing it's good for is to manually operate a vent. It sees the ecobee 3 thermostat, it's configured, but the app refuses to actually turn it on. Update: eventually I figured out how to use it and it mostly works okay. My biggest complaint is that now is I'd like to have a new room mode: inactive but keep the vent open. It is useful for cases when you don't want the gradient between rooms in the house to be very large.
