About this app

"Fescan-SVILS 2.0" is an application that the Federation of Associations of Deaf People of Cantabria (FESCAN) makes available to deaf people who have requested sign language interpretation services. If they so wish, these services can be provided remotely through a video interpretation service. This enables FESCAN to provide a greater number of interpretation services within their autonomous community by eliminating the travel time that sign language interpreters routinely have to spend for these types of services. This facilitates deaf people's access to in-person services from both public authorities and private entities, guaranteeing them equal opportunities and personal autonomy in their daily lives.

This app has been conceived and designed for use on smartphones and tablets with Android 4.X or higher operating systems and equipped with a front-facing camera.
Using the "Fescan-SVILS" app requires an internet connection, either through a 3G/4G/5G data connection or a Wi-Fi connection.

To use the app, you must be previously registered as a user of the SVIsual service (https://www.svisual.org), have requested a reservation from FESCAN (through the usual channels) and have received confirmation of the reservation.
