The first in the "Wandroid" series of Hakusura 3D dungeon RPGs
This is a remake version of "Wandroid #1 - ORDEAL FROM THE MAD OVERLORD -".

A retro and classic 3D dungeon RPG
Nostalgic old-fashioned first-person dungeon movement,
It is a simple RPG such as command input type battle.


◆ Character creation with a high degree of freedom
Create a character from 8 occupations, 5 races, and 3 personalities from "Create Character" in the training ground.
You can freely set a face image for the created character from a photo on your smartphone.
A default character is also available in the tavern, so those who are troublesome to create can use that character.


◆Simple scenario
The goal is to form a party of 6 and defeat the evil wizard in the depths of the underground labyrinth.

◆ A game where you explore and discover yourself
There is no so-called "tutorial" in this game.
It is a game where you search for the contents of the game by yourself, discover, and solve the mystery.


◆ Hakusura Dungeon
There are about 200 types of monsters and about 200 types of items.
You can check the monsters you defeated and the items you got in the list.

◆ With automatic mapping.
Auto-mapping can be seen by using the "map scroll" sold at the store, or by the magic of "Mapper" learned by wizards.

◆ Switching between automatic save and manual save
Game data is automatically saved by default.
However, you can use the so-called reset trick by switching from settings to manual saving.


◆ Compatible with gamepad operations
Supports operation with various gamepads via Bluetooth connection.
(Please note that some gamepad models may not be compatible.)


◆ Cancellation of advertisement by billing
It is a free app with banner ads, but you can hide the ads by paying.

It will be a remake of the past Wandroid#1.
The screen design and user interface are new,

Notes on the remake version
Scenarios, dungeon maps, items, monsters, etc. are almost the same,
The basic system and user interface are the same as Wandroid8.
There is no data compatibility with the old work. Data transfer is also not possible.
Also, please note that the expeditionary force system that was in the original work is not in the remake version.

Ratings and reviews

Excellent Wizardry 1 clone. Very true to the original. The reason for 3 stars: I purchased the game to get the auto-mapping feature, but I still have to watch an ad every time I want to view the map. I may as well map the dungeons myself. That being the case, there's no reason to purchase the game. Simply play it for free.

Having fun thus far. However, despite there being a spell to silence enemies, I have never actually seen a foe cast a single spell. Quite odd considering countering deadly enemy magic is a big part of Wizardry. Also, being able to upload your own chosen images for your party members is cool. Want Luke Skywalker leading your team? Have at it.

If anything, this remake has made things worse. The Admob function is just an excuse for ad revenue. And way too invasive, and it kills the immersive factor. Want to view the map? Watch an ad. Need to have your thief disarm a trap? Watch an ad. With this logic, Admob will be needed to arrange the party, move between floors, use magic, and access inventory. What ever happened to banner ads? Proven multiple times to be less invasive and far less buggy. But who cares as long as you're making money?
