In Mission Osdalen, we meet Katja again, whom we first met in Svanhovd: a climate mystery. Katja has now gone from being a research assistant to becoming a full-fledged member of a research team working with wild game.

She is called out to Osdalen in Innlandet, where a pair of wolves have settled in an area that was previously uninhabited by wolves. The level of conflict in the village is increasing between those who welcome the wolf and those who want it gone.

In an attempt to understand how the wolves will affect the people who use the same areas as the animals, Katja is sent out on a mission to survey the newly arrived pair of wolves. The aim is to create a common understanding of the biology and ecology of wolves for everyone who lives in the village.
Through the game, you can, among other things, try your hand at collecting DNA material, put tracking collars on the wolves, and repair the game cameras that the researchers have set out in the forest.
