It's already dusk and the Shopping Guard is dozing off and hears a noise inside the Shopping Mall, he wakes up and looking at the monitoring camera he sees a Thief trying to rob the Shopping Mall... he gets up and turns on all the lights and runs after the Thief to arrest you.

The game has no secret... just run after the Thief until you reach him...!!
Each time you catch the Thief you earn points depending on the time remaining and start a race after the Thief again, but each time the difficulty increases.

What can happen is that you trip over things in the scenery, slowing you down and wasting time to reach it. To jump with the Guard you have the entire region of the screen above the movement Arrows, if you press too close to the Arrows the movements will hinder the jump...!!
If you want, you can even take a shortcut through the Elevator, the bad thing is that the Thief goes back when you try to catch him from the other side.
When opening the elevator door, use Up to Enter and Down to Exit.

The Escalator takes you to the top floor, just touch it and it takes you alone. There is no way to move on the Ladder to get ahead, you can take a jump before taking the ladder to fall further down it.

Run after the Thief before he runs away.

The difficulties lie in the obstacles such as the Ball, Shopping Cart, Speaker and Plane... they become more common as the difficulties progress. What they do is slow you down, wasting time when you run into them, except for the Plane which, when it hits the Guard's Head, makes you lose a Life, to avoid the Plane you just need to duck so it passes straight by, you have to be careful because it crosses the screen and appears again, having to dodge several times until you pass the screen. Lives are no more than 3 amounts, however for every 10,000 points you gain a Life if you have less than 3...!!
