Software comes setup to design for either balsa-wood or inexpensive card-stock for materials, but other materials such as foam-board can be used too as one just needs to input the material density into the program to design for another construction material. Clay for nose ballast and a hot glue gun for balsa, or superglue for card-stock, are also recommended. Of course no construction tools or building materials are included in the software sale.
