Ratings and reviews

I'm very disappointed with the automatic update to NorthernView app. Since the update, I can no longer access live footage using mobile data -- video is only available when connected to Wi-Fi. This severely limits functionality when I'm out and about without reliable Wi-Fi access. I regret not having the option to decline or delay the update, and I strongly urge you to restore mobile data access or provide users with more control over future updates.

If this app actually worked, I could sell this product to my customers. For the price of the NVR and cameras, this product would fly off the shelves. The play back is terrible and the green screen on certain channels is very frustrating. I have this equipment set up for a demo at the shop and lot's of people are interested, but until this app is repaired. I tell my customers not to even consider this. This day and age people want to see their security equipment on their smart devices.

It's hard to do playback with this system. The time keeps resetting it's self and to actually do playback you have to go into the building to the system itself. The app on the phones just shows black. Our old system also caught movement and recorded only that. This one we can't find a setting for that. It's not user friendly.
