Albuquerque Where's the Bus shows real time information about ABQ Ride buses. Created with data from the Albuquerque open data initiative.


When the user selects a stop nearby the app shows the scheduled times for buses to arrive at that stop. If real time information is available about the bus that is scheduled to arrive at that time, the app will also predict whether that bus will be on time or how late it will be. The user can then click on the scheduled time to see a real-time location for that bus.

This is the most useful app I have on my phone. Without this app I would never be on time and would spend the majority of my travel time sitting at bus stops all over Albuquerque! Now, only if the bus drivers would honor the schedule they are to follow rather than arriving, anywhere from, 2 minutes to 10 minutes early, life would be a lot less stressful. I'd much rather the bus be behind schedule instead of ahead of schedule. All in all ABQ RIDE gets two thumbs up!!

For someone w/ limited transportation options, using the bus system in a sprawling western city is terrible. This app is absolutely vital to planning your trip on the go, it makes all the difference whether it's worth it to wait or just walk, & it helps you make sure you'll catch the last bus home. I would be completely lost & stranded without it. 2022 edit: idk if the app is sunsetting since ABQ Ride contracted with Transit, but thank you for your years of running this app!!

I've been using this app daily since its release. It's easy to navigate and accurate.This is important for those of us who no longer drive yet value punctuality. Posted a review several years ago. Still using this app daily. However, there has been a change with regard to scheduling. Route 66 doesn't show up as advertised. Otherwise, the app itself works fine.
