Colour Wheel App is a simple and handy tool for painters and graphic designers, or anyone interested in colour.
-Select colours from images using colour picker tool and view them on a colour wheel
-Choose colours directly from the colour wheel.
-Get HEX codes, and digital colour information.
-Edit colours (lightness, saturation).
-Create harmonious colour schemes, such as complementary, split-complementary, analogous, triadic, monochrome etc.
-Easily adjust colour schemes using the touch of a finger.
-Get paint mixing recipes for working with real paint colours, based on a colour picked from and image/wheel.

This app is fantastic for color theory as an artist. It lets you use a color wheel to 1. Pick a hex code 2. Tell you complementary colors according to 6 color theory determined palletes (including split complementary which is one of the hard to calculate ones!) 3. Tells you what paints to mix irl to get that color. I love this so much it's exactly what I was hoping for. Only downside is it's a little laggy when you switch windows to it and back. Sometimes it closes out when switching.

I'm blown away by this app. Just discovered you can take a photo of any colour and from that photo the app will give you multiples of colour schemes to match it. An absolute game changer for my crocheting.

Love it. Two things I would love to see added: (1) Ability to select a harmonic color to get its color mixing info; (2) Ability to get color mixing info using only primary and black and white paints.
