First on the scene – Save lives in emergency situations

First on site is an alarm app for emergency situations, developed for healthcare staff within Region Uppsala. The app helps to increase the chances of survival in sudden cardiac arrest (SCA) by enabling rapid intervention.

In the event of a cardiac arrest nearby, the app sends an alert to trained users in the area. As a first responder, you can either immediately go to the scene to begin cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), or retrieve the nearest defibrillator (AED) before helping the patient. The app offers:

The service is run by the Ambulance Service in Region Uppsala on behalf of the Health and Medical Services Committee. The app is only intended for authorized healthcare personnel within the region.

🕒 Alarms are sent around the clock, but you can specify when you are available via the settings in the app.
🔒 Privacy & Permissions

The app uses the device's GPS to determine if you are in the vicinity of a cardiac arrest.

No personal health or fitness data is collected or stored.

Location Services must be set to "Always Allow" to receive alerts in a timely manner.
