About this app

Halo Connect brings a full suite of connectivity features to the Halo tire inflation system, and the installation app makes syncing the gateway and sensors quick and simple. With the app, Halo Connect installation can be done in a few short steps, with minimal scanning of components. The app guides you through the sensor installation process to ensure they’re in the the right place. Once the hardware is in place, the app automatically checks the LTE, GPS, TPMS, and Bluetooth connections to ensure all the components are syncing properly. If anything is out of place, the app runs comprehensive diagnostics to help you rapidly find and fix the problem.

With the Halo Connect app you can:

* Set up new gateways
* Place, map, and activate new sensors
* Add or replace sensors
* Track connectivity and diagnose potential issues

Application works about 10% of the time. I've tried it on several different OS versions and different phone models. Application works on about every 5th time I try to use it. Has great difficulty pairing to the Halo connect controller. In order for the application to work as designed you have to uninstall and reinstall after about 5 halo connect installations to maintain the functionality of the application

UPDATE: we called aperia, they said to re install the app and use the serial number on the halo sticker as the gateway password. Seems to work now. Though it still takes a couple attempts sometimes. Since the app was updated I can no longer connect to any of the halo systems on my trucks. It just says looking for gateway about 10 times and then the connection fails.

** REPAIR ** To continue connecting to gateway modules after the last update which changed the name to "HALO tech" you have to input the serial number for the gateway when asked for a password. It used to be you could just put "0000" but not anymore thanks to a Bluetooth communication protocol update by Samsung. To find the serial number locate the HALO sticker on the door way and look for the number under "S/N" or directly on the gateway itself.
