Used to be great, but suddenly it's not regular minesweeper anymore. Minesweeper as a word-game doesn't make any sense at all, because there's no exact correlation between the word and the mines around it. Regardless if the developer thinks this is better, it is not what I wanted when I installed it. They should have made it a new app or a game mode within the app instead of this bait-n-switch. This is like what Malware does.

This used to be a perfectly okay minesweeper game, but overnight an update turned it into a minesweeper–word game hybrid, which I have no interest in playing. There are no longer numbers indicating the number of mines adjacent to a tile. The mines are assigned a word. How related the word on a tile is to the bomb word is supposed to indicate the number of mines around a tile. Colors indicate the number of mines too, but tiles with 3 or more mines are indistinguishable, all being the same color.

Thank you for using my app for so long. It exists since 2016.
You are lucky to use it because we believe this version of minesweeper that got pushed to your phone is a lot better. Have you tried it?
If you still want the previous minesweeper, you can install the old apk from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1p4Rvyi_QTNtIRFFKiF8F2RGiavluyhKY

Game works fine, but the way it runs isn't set up like classic minesweeper. You are *not* gaurenteed a safe pick first click per usual, the board is set when you click reset. This can lead to frustrating starts to games. Aside from that, when you actually get a chance to solve a game, it works quite well.
