Throughout these years, the Government of Canelones has been transforming from an Institution originally designed to provide basic services, to one that articulates and strengthens, generating information and ensuring knowledge-based management, where different programs and plans count with the fundamental sustenance of knowledge and information.

Within the framework of these definitions that make departmental environmental policy, we believe it is essential to incorporate tools and technology that ensure access to quality information in a framework of transparency and accountability.

This Platform, both in its Web version and in the application, allows us to know the quality of the Aquatic Systems of Canelones as well as the state, equipment and services of our beaches, reaffirming an Environmental Policy that seeks to articulate increasing levels of efficiency and Efficiency in services, with a strong environmental agenda that incorporates the challenges of this new century.

This path will continue to have results if we get all involved, surely that is the biggest challenge.
