Wonderful mostly. I really like the design and being able to edit the colors. The controls are user friendly as well. However, it has a weak engine. I had to crank it all the way up to lvl 25 to get a decent game, and it still blundered. Get a better engine and I'll give it five stars. *2 yrs later: I just tested the game out again on level 25. I see the engine hasn't changed; I beat it on the first try. I'm about 1700 so I'm still in 'C' class. Still good for 2 player and setting up positions.

Great game for casual chess, especially for players with little experience. The AI is difficult to beat and has many levels for each skill set. I do find it frustrating that it has only a few, similar, beginning moves. Warning: if you want to practice for IRL chess this is not the game for you. The play encourages quick moves and has a rewind button in case anything goes wrong, while in an IRL game you have to think in depth about every move

Talk about extensive wait times, and even basic moves at the opening take longer than necessary; I mean, wait an eternity for the computer to move a piece at the end of the game. Also, it has a habit to change difficulty levels in the middle of a game; that it suddenly starts playing like garbage, so I check the difficulty level, and it's all the way down to 3. This app needs work, especially with the superfluous wait times (ridiculous).
