I have to say that I was impressed with Beacon from the moment it was early accessable to now. I have gotten friends and fellow family members to easily connect and see people that they haven't seen in a while without having to go through so much hassle, and have used it on rare times to help with other people for issues that needed assisting when I just couldn't be there physically nor through regular remote means. Even manage to get a group together to allow easier communications and sending each other certain information so that we could work properly as a team without the need of all the advanced features in more business oriented apps that like to focus on team efficiency. Communicating, scheduling, group chatting, making dedicated rooms, what more could you ask for? Oh right, the need for secure connections... oh wait! IT HAS THAT TOO! If you still don't know everything that you can do, you can always check the tutorial area on the website to learn of its functions. So check it out and thank me later!

Beacon is the video messenger program we didn't know we needed. Many other competitors in this space have resorted to all sorts of shenanigans to cut costs or to make more profits at the expense of our privacy (e.g. monitoring audio for keywords for ad profiling) but Beacon just does everything it needs to while ensuring privacy using end to end encryption. Some of the features in the planned paid subscriptions actually look very useful like real time translation and call transcription and I would love to play around with these to see how well they work.

This is the easiest and most secure app for video conferencing and chatting I have ever used. Just create a list of people you want to chat with.. send invite and off you go. What could be simpler. Also built in End to End encryption so you don't worry about hackers entering of listening to your calls. I've used it since early beta and have never had any issues. Forget Zoom and Facetime this is the go to app for you.
