Attendees sign up for your event via the Tournament Organizer App or through a custom web page generated by BCP for your event. Players’ pairings, results, and placings are posted on the web or in the Best Coast Pairings Player App giving unparalleled visibility. Once you start the event players can view their pairings, find their table and get to playing right away. Push notifications and a built in round timer let attendees know the round is live and the time remaining. When the round is completed players can enter scores via the Player App or the TO App quickly and accurately removing or lessening the need for a dedicated score keeper. When all the scores are in, all the TO has to do is tap to start the next round!

I have to agree with Luke R, moving event management off the app was a bad idea. The web version seems clutteted and disorganized. Clicks dont seem to flow, and it took me forever to find my event roster. Having to learn a new program before before a major Catan Qualifier will slow down my event and could lead to mistakes. A practice or tutorial mode should be available.

Bumping the review up a star for surprisingly fast response here from the developer! I'll keep you posted! Unfortunately SO glitchy! Hosting a Catan qualifier today and using the app for the first time. High hopes at first as the layout and functionality seemed promising! Bit people being duplicated when changing tables, tables being duplicated in drop down menus, and previous rounds of data being duplicated as well. Crazy unreliable. Would not use again and just stick with Google Docs.

DON'T INSTALL!!! The app works great, or at least it used to, before they decided to stop supporting it in favor of the website. Nowadays it's nothing more than a glorified event viewer for organizers. You no longer have access to manage events unless from the website (which the app immediately reminds you if you check any of your events). It's not a bug, it's a feature apparently. Even BCP support says so, at least from the answer they sent me last time I checked.
