I have an Aegis Lock with Wi-Fi Gateway and Keypad. The system is robust and reliable, but it suffers a very frustrating problem: the app's Event Notifications stops working for days, then resume, only to stop again whenever it feels like it. All this happens in spite of the app's Event Notifications settings NOT being disturbed. OTOH, ALL events are correctly recorded. Playing with the settings doesn't fix it. This is a major flaw. It interferes with the ability to keep track of activities.

It works BUT the feature of auto unlock when you return home doesn't always work and when it does it takes 5 minutes with me often left standing at the door waiting since I don't have a key. I also have the key pad and it's of no use, no matter how many times I updated my fingerprint, it doesn't recognize it. I try using the pin code and hit unlock and nothing happens but a few beeps. I think this system has potential but their programming isn't there. I suggest looking into August or something.

For the most part great device easy to install ,set up, and setup with Alexa. Problem after calibration saying door is open when it's shut sometimes, Then I get an alert that my barn door was closed when it figures out where it's at. at least when my barn door is closed it alerts me that it's been opened even though it tells me it's already open So no one's going to get in without me getting an alert. Recalibrated three times same results wish I could only knock off half a star.
