Buftaku Subtitle Editor (previously known as Buftaku Subtitle Utility) is a video subtitle editor for Android which aims at editing and exporting Advanced SubStationAlpha (.ass) subtitles along with other common formats such as SubRip Text. It can also directly extract subtitle tracks (soft subs) from video files.

It can parse the following subtitle formats:

• Advanced SubStationAlpha (.ass)
• SubRip Text (.srt)
• WebVTT (.vtt)

It can export into the following formats:

• Advanced SubStationAlpha (.ass)
• SubRip Text (.srt)
• WebVTT (.vtt)

It's a good program but there's a small problem, when you play the video and put the subtitles do not appear on the video, if you can fix it would be very nice, thank you برنامج جيد ولكن هناك مشكلة صغيرة عند تشغيل الفيديو ووضع الترجمات لا تظهر على الفيديو اذا استطعت اصلاحه فسيكون جميل جدا شكرا لك

People are too sick to write such a negative reviews like that. The app is amazing and keeps amazing me, Best subtitle editor for android no complain. Just a little problem facing me is that i can't load mkv video, some work and loaded normaly, and others doesn't work. For sure i can overcome this by hiding video area and using split screen but, it would be great if this has been fixed. Thanks alot for such an Impressive app.

Keep crashing, so you need to save often, and I already have the latest update. Other than that, it's a good app. Perfect end result. I'll give it 5 star if it can stop crashing.

- You can now browse subtitle and video files on your external SD Card (although writing access is limited to only the app's folder)
- Tweaked autosaving so that it will save to app's folder as a separate file instead of overwriting your current file
