This is a pretty solid little game, with a charming hand-drawn aesthetic to it. Gameplay is similar to the Battleship games for the Nintendo and Game Boy, in that it also has advanced weapons and radar, instead of only picking away at one space at a time. Unlike those two, however, this iteration offers a separate mode with only basic weapons, so if you want the traditional tabletop Battleship experience, you can get that, too. The online multiplayer is a joy to play, as well.

This takes a classic concept and reimagines it with new ideas. In addition to the standard gameplay of original battleship, it adds new mechanics, such as abilities that can change the course of the game, for example, while costly, the atomic bomb can clear out a huge portion of the opponents board. If you don't like these new features, you can turn them off and play normal battleship. I myself prefer keeping them on though.

Good game. I think the paid parts of the game are rediculously overpriced. If they were $1 I probably would buy a few. But paying fortnite prices for a mobile game is dumb. Also, the tournaments make no sense. You have to win 3 games in a row to win any money, and it only pays you the same amount as winning 2 regular matches. So there is 0 point in playing them. And you dont get any cash for coming in 2nd, 3rd, etc. Wish there was more offense options. With a few changes this could be GREAT.
