‘Cielo Home’ is FREE and there are NO monthly subscriptions. These apps are loaded with a huge array of smart features. Here is a glimpse of the smart features, which are carefully designed and implemented to add a lot of convenience to you while saving a good amount of energy for you:

-Enjoy Global Control. Control your AC from anywhere in the world.

-Maximize Comfort. Enable Comfy Mode and set intelligent triggers to regulate your room temperature.

-Add Convenience. Adjust your AC’s mode, fan speed, vent position & more using your phone.

-Employ Smart Scheduling. Set 7-day schedules to automatically perform actions as per your desired settings and routine.

-View Usage History & Timeline of Actions. Stay up to date with your AC usage from the past 30 days.

-Enable Geofencing. Set location-based actions and controls.

-Set Temperature Range Controls. Fix a temperature range as per your liking for your AC to operate within (this feature is only available for Cielo Breez Plus).

The speed of the app has gotten better but I still believe it's missing the option to have conditional schedules. I can't use any power on schedule in my home because sometimes the rooms are empty. A simple check if the AC is in a power on state before triggering some schedules would give more flexibility especially for comfy max. Also a widget so we can make quick changes to temp etc without launching the app.

The app is a game changer. I couldn't tolerate all that was lacking in the hand held remote. There was no temperature readout, no back light, and no schedule. I had to locate the remote and point the remote at my mini split in order for it to respond to my commands. Enter the Cielo Home App. All the features on the remote are available in the smart home app. The only thing I would ask is that the developers add to the thermostat control a minus and a plus sign to avoid toggling around a circle.

Update, 01/30/1014: Thankfully, the developer made quick work of fixing and restoring the ability to enable and disable the schedules. Yay! All was well until this latest app update, but now, as others have pointed out, there are no longer any "sliders" for enabling and disabling schedules. The worst part is that they dropped this update right when we went from freezing to spring like weather and I can't change my schedules.

What's new

This release brings the most innovative features for Cielo users who own Multi Zone Mini Split Systems. Such systems can only operate in either heating or cooling mode at one time. This limitation often leads to Mode Conflict situations when one indoor unit is switched to heat mode while others are operating in cool mode or vice versa. This release along with Cielo Breez Max will help you solve Mode Conflict issues permanently resulting in smooth operation of your multi zone mini split systems.
