Pretty useful when cooking with this. Able to take my eyes off the timer, without worry. Watch some news, quick nap, bathroom breaks. Why limit the timer to only 60 minutes? I mean I need to do something that is over the 1 hr. Really limiting, other stuff I wanted to do. Any chance of updating, extending the timer? Ok, there was problem with the timer, when I was playing a game on the phone, the timer stopped it happened twice. Why is that. It doesn't happen when I'm watching youtube?

Thank you Alfred. Android sends background apps to sleep. There is a setting you can change described here: https://www.carlcare.com/ke/tips-detail/How-to-Prevent-Android-from-Killing-Background-Apps/ It is a total pain. YouTube streams (different) and the inbuilt timer bypasses this restriction altogether. So sorry - this is the best I can do.

Works really well and doesn't steal data! It's customisable in a way that really suits me. I can have it use my "media" channel while I listen to podcasts or music and have it mute that so I can hear the remaining time spoken, or I can chose not to do that. I can set loads of "remaining time" type alerts, or some, or none. The choice is great! My only gripe is you can't set an alarm for longer than 3 hours or have an alert every xx mins for the full duration of the timer, only the last hour.

Thank you so much for the review Becky. The shorter time limit was intentional. It is not a native Android/Google app, and as such it can be killed at any time by the operating system. The longer the duration, the more likely that will happen, hence the time limit. Thank you for using the app and once again for the review! Clive.

What a fabulous use of the app! Delighted that you like it, and thank you for the review!

What’s new

Changed the "seconds" wheel to allow 0-59 seconds, instead of the previous 0, 5, 10, 15, etc.

Added a menu to simplify the interface and make the app more user-friendly.

Added Terms of Use for the app — just in case someone misses a plane and blames the timer! :-0
(and because we HAVE to spell things out for some people today, don't we?)
