Since it was founded in Estrela (RS) in 1972, the Rio Grande do Sul Pig Breeders Association - ACSURS, together with the work of the Brazilian Pig Breeders Association (ABCS), has sought to change this reality through the genetic improvement of the flock. The entity had its trajectory marked by several achievements and numerous improvements provided to the pig sector. Always dynamic, ACSURS celebrates 46 years of service to the Rio Grande do Sul pig farming, constantly claiming the rights of pig farmers at all levels, especially with regard to health care and fair remuneration for the kilo of live pig.
