About this app

The Reef Nexus app paired with the ReefBreeders Photon wireless adapter kit allow for full cloud-based control of your ReefBreeders Photon V2 or V2+. You can choose from a variety of preset programs, or design your own advanced lighting schedule - from anywhere in the world!

Lights can be programmed individually or in groups for seamless sunrise, sunset, and moonlight programs on your reef tank. You can name individual lights and groups to easily keep track of each of your Photon V2+'s programming.

In order to use this app, you need a Photon V2 or V2+ with our wireless integration kit installed, and a wireless router with a 2.4GHz network.

Original post was 03/2021. There haven't been updates or new features added at all. The app is super basic and I thought it would get better. Im tempted to replace might light because of the poor app support. Like a Acclimation mode or a better interface. I got the AI Prime 16HD for my smaller tank and that app is much better. The app alone makes it impossible for me to recommend Reefbreeder lights. I almost most the remote! My ratting will get better when the app gets better.

Easy to use application. I have multiple tanks with radions gen 4, ai 52 and 64, and an older reef breeders V2 which I upgraded to V2Pro with the nexus board. I have used web sites, apps, bluetooth, proprietary. I have not seen why this app is rated so badly because it was easy for me to build my custom 24 hour program and the wifi capability of the reef breeders light is reliable and "just works well".

It works but need more options. Need to be able to save setting into a file or something. Want to try different settings and save them and you can't
