Had called the app dept with provided number March 22 and was told they were working on the compatibility issue. Today, April 12, new update (21.3.50) is now working on my phone (s7 edge) running android 8.0.0. Also now working on husband's note 9. So HAPPY to have mobile functionality back. Thank you for getting the issue corrected with previous version 21.3.30! Love the ease of use on the app. No fluff, just everything I need in an easy to navigate format.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Apparently, when our mobile app provider pushed out an update last week, the update was not compatible with certain versions of Android phones causing our mobile app to no longer work with some phones. Feel free to contact our mobile app team at 903.572.7585 if you have further questions, and we will assist you.

It's nice to have an app. They get two stars for that. They get no stars because you have to reenter your password inside the app to do transfers. Such a pain. Edit: I dropped my review to one star. It doesn't seem like there have been any updates to make this app more user friendly or intuitive since day one. The app is garbage, barely works, looks like it was created by a remedial group of C++ trainees, requires multiple logins (Chase doesn't even do this), and is super clunky to use.

Cypress will lock your card after calling you for a fraudulent charge and will just lock it instead of disallowing the charge. Then they give you no option or way to unlock it yourself. Meaning if someone happens to accidentally purchase something from somewhere, if Cypress deems that's fraudulent, that person can't pay bills, can't buy food, and has to put themselves out and go to a bank or call, which also isn't reliable.
