PyFile Runner is a Python IDE and code editor for Android. Create projects, edit scripts and run Python on your device.
EDITOR AND WORKSPACE
• Syntax highlighting, line numbers, in-file search, Undo/Redo, smart indentation and an extra coding-key row.
• Offline suggestions for Python keywords, built-ins, templates and names in the current file. Use code outline, jump to symbols, diagnostics and basic whitespace formatting. Adjust font size, indentation, line numbers and wrapping.
• Create files and folders, search and sort items, rename, move, duplicate, trash and restore them. Import, export or share .py, .txt, .csv and .json files. Recovery copies help protect edits.
RUN AND DEBUG
• Run scripts with the included Python runtime or explore code in the interactive REPL. The Console shows output, errors and input, and lets you stop or rerun a script.
• Set breakpoints, step through code, continue execution, inspect the call stack and local or global variables, and watch expressions.
PYTHON LIBRARIES AND VISUALS
• Work with Requests, NumPy, Matplotlib, SymPy, Pandas, SciPy, scikit-learn, Pillow and OpenCV.
• Create 2D and 3D plots. Build supported Python GUIs with Qt/PySide6, Kivy or Pygame/SDL2.
PACKAGES AND MODELS
• Search PyPI package information, review installed packages and updates, and install compatible, verified pure-Python wheels. Native wheels may not run on Android.
• Import or download compatible LiteRT (.tflite) and ExecuTorch (.pte) models, verify them and try on-device inference in Model Manager. This is separate from full TensorFlow or PyTorch Python support.
• Start from built-in examples for data, plots, image processing and GUI projects. The included runtime and libraries work offline; internet access is needed for online package information and downloads.
