FINALLY, a viable replacement for the ages old OpenSearch app. I've been carrying that one from device to device since it's no longer on the play store. SearchBarEX has more options and does everything I need and more. Unfortunately, this app has a significant bug. I haven't been able to figure out why, but certain random words and phrases seem to incorrectly trigger the keyword function. It erases what I've typed and switches to a different search engine.

This is an amazing app. I've been looking for something like this since my first Android. (Tmobile MyTouch 3g) You can intergrade all of your searches whether it's from websites or internal apps. Totally customizable. Can't beat the $1.99 one time cost either. Strongly recommend.

For well over a year it has had the same issue which is, it will just clear your search as you're typing it in. This has been a known issue, many others have given the same feedback. But they don't fix it. Shame, if it didn't do that, decent search app. But because of that issue it's junk. I finally deleted it and found a better one.
