Super Search:
1. Select and hold the word you would like to get the definition for.
2. Click on the “copy” option from the Options Menu.
3. Meaning (translation) and a pop-up button will be shown right there on the screen.


Required Permissions:

INTERNET – if text-to-speech (TTS) is not available, app needs to be online. Example translations, Videos for native speakers’ pronunciation and online machine translator also needs to be online. And to show the ads to support the free version.
SYSTEM_ALERT_WINDOW – app needs this permission to show the floating icon on other screens with super search option.
RECEIVE_BOOT_COMPLETED – required to start the super search on system restart so that users do not need to start super search feature manually every time they restart the system.

Ratings and reviews

I really like the super search, and the interface is nice and cute! Only thing is, after you search up a word, and you press the back button, that word is still in the search bar. Sometimes I forget and type in a word, and I end up having two words smushed together. Other than that, it's really good! Another thing is that it doesn't say whether the nouns are feminine or masculine. It would be very helpful if you could add that in!

Updated 8/24/2022 This French-English app is excellent. It allows to quickly translate even short expressions from English to French. One can listen to the translations in French and read examples of usage of the given word on a scroll-down window. Some examples need updating but they are very useful. The night mode and ability to change speed of text-to-speech conversion are very useful. Perhaps future updates would permit finding words without a need for typing accents. Overall: 5 stars

cool dictionary... well not exactly a dictionary as it doesn't explain the meaning of words. it's more like a thesaurus. When used offline, it translates French to English and gives you lists of meanings and vice versa. When used online it translates phrases and also idioms. the app runs very smoothly and has helped me a lot with reading french
