Ir's not true shaved Sonic like ice. It's more like tiny pellet ice. But, it's quiet and doesn't squeak like my last nugget ice maker did . I like the app control and scheduling feature as well.

Can't "find" the device. Why do these kinds of devices need to be found using Bluetooth or any method except connecting directly to wifi.

The Ice Maker is awesome, the software leaves a lot to desire. but my biggest pet-peeve is " IT CAN'T BE CHANGED OUT OF 24HR MODE" Oh it says it can be changed, BUT IT DOSEN'T WORK! and it makes it useless as a clock, unless of course you go about your day on military time, which isn't most of us I'm assuming.
