About this game

This is a digital remake of the electronic "Simon" game called mini MATCH ME™, manufactured by KINGSFORD in the 80's. All functionality is based solely on what I remember from playing it; because I no longer have the original.

It's a smaller version of the original MATCH ME™, which itself is an 8 button clone of the original SIMON game by Milton Bradley.

Supports 4 game modes; but I was only 6 years old when I last had this game in my hands so I have no idea what game modes 2 and 3 actually do. Currently they're the same as game mode 1.
Game mode 4 is "piano mode", and the game included a manual with musical scores to be used with it.

Automatic music doesn't work because I don't know which music tracks were played.
The winning jingle is taken from Battle City, because I don't know what the original jingle was.

Any information on this electronic game's functions is welcome.

Special thanks to handheldmuseum.com for the high quality pictures of the box-art and pictures of the electronic game itself.

Easter egg: If you play Happy Birthday while on piano mode (1,1,2,1,4,3,1,1,2,1,5,4,1,1,8,6,4,4,3,2) a yellow button will appear. If you hold it down, all the notes you press be lowered by a half step (So button 3 will play E♭ instead of E).

Great for what it is, responsive buttons, a lot of difficulty options, and the victory jingle sounds like something off of Undertale (a game with amazing music). It's not much, but the game succeeds at everything it tries, so I honestly can't give it a lower rating than 5.

An 8 button retro-style Simon game. Looks and feels perfect.
