About this app

This fun educational app with embedded audio clips is structured in a
set of alphabetic primers to teach the children of the Iskonawa indigenous community to
read words in their language. Features illustrations drawn by Guillermo Nëcca Pëmen
Mënquë and Mariana Poblete, as well as with audio clips recorded by Nelita Rodríguez
fields. Each letter of the Iskonawa alphabet is introduced with a word beginning with that letter.
letter and a sentence using the word, with translations into Spanish. Every word and sentence
can be tapped to play the audio clip of the word or sentence. After the
introduction of groups of 5 letters, follow self-assessment pages in which students
Match the words introduced on the previous pages with their corresponding illustration.
